If you use a separately rented car, check that its rental agreement and insurance allow the assigned driver before confirming.

Important: we are not a car rental company

Most people typing "car hire Sri Lanka" want a vehicle plus a driver. We only provide the second half, deliberately. Renting vehicles means fleet risk, rental deposits and unfamiliar cars; providing drivers means we can invest everything in the quality, vetting and training of the people behind the wheel. If you do not have a vehicle, hire one from a rental company you trust and book us for the driver - the two work together perfectly.

Why a driver for your own car is usually better

Your own car already has your child seat fitted, your phone paired, your boot arranged and your insurance in force. Nothing has to be inspected, deposited for or returned with a full tank. On long island trips this matters even more: you know the seats, the air conditioning and the suspension you will be sitting on for six hours.

   You get the driver's name before the trip. For tours we assign an English-speaking driver familiar with the route.

   Travel

   He drives your car for the agreed itinerary. Changes on the day are usually fine - just tell the driver.
